What is the most inspiring thing about working at Compass, with students and/or in Montessori?

I love working in an environment that has a working farm on its campus.  My favorite part about working with 3-6 year olds is there curiosity of learning and their generous loving hearts.

What is your favorite lesson in Montessori?

I love the geography lessons in the Children's House.  Watching the students understand the globe and continents from such an early age is amazing and fun to help foster a love of the world.

How were you introduced to the world of Montessori? 

At the end of my student teaching, I read a book about Montessori learning and everything made sense to me.  I ended up writing my final paper on Montessori education and got my first job out of college in a little Montessori School in San Luis Obispo, CA as a Children's House Assistant.
