What is the most inspiring thing about working at Compass, with students and/or in Montessori?

Seeing the natural development of children in a prepared environment that allows for the realization of human potential.

What is your favorite lesson in Montessori?

Proper handling with the materialized abstraction of productive human work: cash and banking.  Physical currency is fundamentally a medium of exchange but it represents so many things in our culture.  It is also fascinating as material culture and says a lot about a society's ethos and mythology.

How were you introduced to the world of Montessori? 

As a parent of two Children's House to High School graduate children.

Fun fact - If we held a staff talent show, I'd wow everyone with my talent doing.....fill in the blank! 

Spinning a basketball  on my finger and juggling 3 bananas (not at the same time though!)
