What is the most inspiring thing about working at Compass, with students and/or in Montessori?

Watching adolescents evolve and learn to really know themselves and eventually what they love to do is such a gift! 

What is your favorite lesson in Montessori?

The Math materials are all pretty amazing, and everytime I have the privilege of watching a lesson, I am inspired and wish that was how I learned Math in school! 

How were you introduced to the world of Montessori? 

Our kids went to traditional school for the first couple of years, and then we traveled for a year and homeschooled. During that year, I researched teaching philosophies and found Montessori to be the best fit for our kids and our family values. 

Fun fact - If we held a staff talent show, I'd wow everyone with my talent doing.....fill in the blank!

Working in my garden is my happy place. Also hiking! Also yoga!
