What is the most inspiring thing about working at Compass, with students and/or in Montessori?

The genuine relationships that are built among students and staff are wonderful. Everyday I see compassionate humans who are incredible agents of change. 

What is your favorite lesson in Montessori?

My overall favorite Montessori philosophy includes educating the whole child; emphasizing the importance of tapping into a child's natural curiosity and desire to learn and grow.   

How were you introduced to the world of Montessori? 

Initially I had a friend who sent their child to Montessori school when I lived in Minnesota and I was curious what it was all about. Years later I drove by Golden's Montessori campus and saw the farm animals and adorable campus. I was immediately intrigued again and upon looking at Compass' website, I recognized that Compass Montessori values aligned with my own. 

Fun fact - If we held a staff talent show, I'd wow everyone with my talent doing.....fill in the blank!
