What is the most inspiring thing about working at Compass, with students and/or in Montessori?

I love the fact that as a Montessori guide, students have so many opportunities to follow their academic and personal passions on a daily basis. I am inspired to be able to guide students as they navigate through the Montessori experience.

What is your favorite lesson in Montessori?

My favorite Montessori lesson would have to be multiplication checkerboard and division test tubes. Both of these materials visually present to the learner the concepts behind multiplication and division in such a colorful manner. They also require the learner to use precise hand-eye coordination and they are also super fun to use.

How were you introduced to the world of Montessori? 

I was introduced to the world of Montessori when I got a job as a Math Interventionist at Free Horizon Montessori School in Golden.
